The problem I faced while submitting my online transfer claim in UAN portal and what are the steps I took.

The Scenarios:-

In UAN portal, I am trying to submit an online claim for pf transfer.

But on the Transfer Request page.

Scenario 1. In 'Step 1' section for the field 'Member ID / UAN' I entered my UAN i.e. 100*******08 and clicked get details. It is showing error - 'No previous employment details found against this UAN.'

Scenario 2. In 'Step 1' section for the field 'Member ID / UAN' I entered my Previous Member ID i.e. PUPUN003***300E002***2 and clicked get details. It is showing error - 'Invalid previous member ID.'

Scenario 3. In 'Step 1' section I click on 'Get MID' button there I am unable to enter '00E' in the 'Enter Extension' field. It does not let us enter any character it only accepts numeric value I guess.

Please let me know what should I do in this case?
Are not the people with exempted previous member id allowed to claim it through online?

For your information on the service history page, it is showing both my Member id. I am not sure why it is not able to fetch my previous member id while I enter my UAN no in the scenario 1.

What I did:-

1. I raised two grievances at EPFiGMS (http://epfigms.gov.in/)  which you can find on the Provident Fund Website (http://www.epfindia.com).

2. I send a message to their official Facebook Handler (EPFO FB Page).

Now, what will I do:-

At the time of writing this blog post, I am still trying to get the issue resolved.

I will do what I was asked to do. I will send my issue to those email ids mentioned on those replies.

Conclusion:-

I think this will help you even if very little help. At least you now know that you are not the only person facing this issue. Like me and you, there are many people facing the same issue. Now that you have read this you won't have to start from the starting point you can directly email your problems to those above-mentioned email ids.

    I am also facing the exact same problem. I moved from an organization that had PF trust(exempt)and I am unable to enter 00E. Did you have any luck with it yet? How else did you manage the transfer?

    1. The issue still persists in the system.
      But there is an workaround to this issue. please wait till the weekend i will update the post with the details.
